Why a one-size-fits-all WP plugin falls short
WordPress's built-in privacy tools (Settings → Privacy) generate a generic template. Jetpack, Akismet, and Yoast add their own paragraphs through the privacy_policy_guide hook — but only if every author and admin clicks "Add to Policy" for every plugin. In practice, sites end up with stale templates missing half the integrations. The hosted generator pulls from your declared plugin list and rebuilds the policy whenever you re-run it.
